Hello Single With Food Allergies:
I’ve received an email from a single father of a child with food allergies. This single dad has his daughter most weekends, so he has limited time to date. He wants to know how to meet single women and he really wants to meet a single mother of a child with a food allergy. Is he asking for too much?
If you are a single parent of a child with a food allergy, please read my suggestions and add your own. I don’t think that the single dad is demanding too much at all. First, he must take advantage of a niche dating website like this one. I’m amazed at the emails that I receive from single women and from single men with food allergies who have NEVER posted profiles. Yes, indeed, you can meet a boyfriend or girlfriend through online dating. Post a profile with a photo and be patient!
Second, use holidays, like the 4th of July, to show your unique personality. If your child and you wear your favorite red, white and blue outfits, you already have the basis for a light, first conversation! Wear a goofy hat! Wear a shirt with an interesting slogan or wear a shirt that identifies an intriguing destination! Best of all, smile a lot!
Afterwards you’ve exchanged contact information with your prospective date, head home for a special treat. Enjoy some dairy free, nut free, soy-based vanilla ice cream or dairy free, soy free, coconut based peach ice cream!
Happy 4th of July, Single With Food Allergies! Eat wisely!
